I most likely won't make it out but may become more involved later. I'll shoot you a message on MGO soon; I've some questions about preferred ammo for a shotgun used in home defense.

Wow, yet another robbery. It seems that pointing a gun in someones face and telling them to give you all of their money has become a full time job for some.

Malorie this doesn't sound random. Just the same research, be prepared, be aware of your surroundings, don't get into a regular routine, Use outdoor motion lights, have a plan. Sorry you are feeling uncomfortable. Things are out of sorts because of the economy not ypsi.

If we can get updates on this story when you get them it would be much appreciated. To reassure myself, I wonder if the victims knew the suspects (especially with the line in your article about them giving police info about possible suspects) rather than it being a random home invasion. Either way, I'm pretty sure I know what I need to get with my tax return this year. Again, it would be extremely nice of Rich Kinsey or someone else to do an article on what to do in the event of a home invasion. Including, and especially, the actual laws pertaining to use of lethal force since there are so many myths and rumors about it.
