A 64-year-old York Township man accused of inappropriately touching two elementary school-aged children was arraigned Thursday on five sexual assault charges, police said.
Frederick James Worden was charged with five counts of second-degree criminal sexual conduct, a felony with a maximum sentence of 15 years in prison, according to the Washtenaw County Sheriff's Office.
Police said the incidents involving two girls known to Worden occurred over the past year and a half at his York Township home. The arrest warrant lists Worden's address as being in the 1000 block of West Willis Road.
Washtenaw County sheriff Sgt. Geoff Fox said the assaults involved "inappropriate touching."
Worden was arrested Wednesday and arraigned on the charges Thursday, police said. He is being held at the Washtenaw County Jail on a $250,000 cash bond, according to jail records.

The Frederick Worden in the state's Offender Tracking Information System (OTIS) appears to not be the same man in this story. The ages don't match up.
