An Ypsilanti woman returned home late Friday morning to discover her home had been burglarized, city police said.

The burglary occurred in the 700 block of Hawkins Street, reports said. The woman told police she left her residence, and when she returned at 11 a.m., she saw the rear door had been forced open.

Some electronic equipment was stolen, reports said. Police are attempting to identify the intruder.
