Ypsilanti police investigate three burglaries reported Sunday

Ypsilanti police are investigating three burglaries discovered Sunday when residents returned to their homes, reports said.

A resident in the 1400 block of Leforge Road called police at 11 a.m. to report that someone broke into his apartment a stole a PS3 and a laptop computer, police said. The apartment was not damaged.

At 6:55 p.m., a resident in the 100 block of Cherry Court reported a break-in. He said his apartment was entered through an unlocked door, and a video game system was stolen, reports said.

And at 8:30 p.m., a resident in the 500 block of Emmet Street returned home and discovered her apartment had been burglarized, reports said. Numerous electronics were stolen.

Police have not made any arrests in the break-ins. Anyone with information is asked to call Ypsilanti police at 734-483-9510.
