Ypsilanti police investigate two burglaries at Huron View Apartments

Ypsilanti police are investigating three break-ins reported Thursday and Friday.

Two of those burglaries occurred at Huron View Apartments in the 800 block of Green Road.

On Thursday, a resident in the 800 block of Green Road returned home just before 10 p.m. to discover his apartment had been burglarized. Multiple TVs and electronics were taken.

Officers were called to a different apartment in the complex at 10:30 p.m. Friday after a resident saw a neighbor's apartment door had been forced in, reports said. Officers checked the residence and didn't find anyone inside. When the resident returned home later that night, police learned a flat screen TV and disc had been taken, reports said.

The third burglary occurred in the 800 block of Jefferson Street. A resident was gone all day and returned home at 11:30 p.m. Friday to discover the front door had been forced open, reports said. Various electronics and personal items were taken, reports said.
