Ypsilanti police say crack cocaine-fueled argument leads to 2 arrests
Two people were arrested Friday morning after Ypsilanti police responded to what officers labeled a crack cocaine-fueled argument.
A 46-year-old woman was arrested for allegedly assaulting a 57-year-old woman during the argument in the 700 block of Harriet Street, according to a police summary of the incident. The victim suffered a probable broken nose, police said, but refused to be transported to the hospital.
Police said a 44-year-old man, who was described as a companion of the woman accused of the assault, was also arrested for suspicion of possession of crack cocaine. The man is on parole for a previous narcotics related conviction, police said, and was lodged at the county jail on a parole detainer.
No further details were available.

OK, it's a slow news day. Really, what is the point of even posting this totally useless and non-newsworthy article? Now, in my neighborhood earlier, Mother Duck And Her Six Ducklings Safely Crossed The Road. See? Things are happening, you just have to get out and look. Alert - two of the ducklings got in a fight over quack-cocaine . . .
