Ypsilanti Township convenience store cashier robbed at gunpoint
Washtenaw County sheriff's deputies are attempting to identify this armed robber.
A man robbed a convenience store at gunpoint Monday morning in the 2000 block of Washtenaw Avenue in Ypsilanti Township, a Washtenaw County Sheriff's Department media summary said.
The man walked into the Sunoco gas station at about 8:17 a.m., pointed a handgun at the cashier and demanded money, the summary said.
According to the summary, the cashier empited the register and handed over the money.
The man was described as black, 5 feet, 10 inches tall, with a thin build and black handgun, police said. He was wearing a tan jacket, bandana covering his face and had a hood on, the summary said. The man left on foot, deputies said.

Sure but compliance is no guarantee of living through the experience either. I'd rather not leave that decision to one who already decided my life is worth less than what's in my wallet and is less important than theirs.

It looks like he was pointing to his favorite brand of cigarette's and forgot he had a gun in his hand. Its getting bad everywhere. I'm so glad none of these show a gun and give me money guys have shot anyone. Don't be a hero. Give them what they want and stay alive.

OMG, It doesn't matter what time of the day or night, the robberies comtinue. I think they are so hard to catch because they all look so much alike. (I'm sure pictures are being compared). This SUX!
