A 26-year-old woman was arrested after Ypsilanti police say she threw a glass liquor bottle at her brother Sunday evening.

Police were dispatched to the 100 block of North Prospect Road at 6:19 p.m. on a report of a woman who was possibly stabbed. Officers discovered the woman was actually cut after she threw a glass bottle at her brother, then attempted to throw a piece of broken glass at him, reports said.

The piece of broken glass lacerated the woman's hand, reports said. The woman's brother punched her in the head attempting to leave the apartment, reports said.

The woman was treated for her injuries and was taken to the Washtenaw County Jail. She is expected to face felonious assault charges.
