Deputies look for Toyota Camry seen shortly before Ypsilanti Township burglary

By Lee Higgins

Washtenaw County sheriff's deputies are looking for a light blue Toyota Camry seen minutes before a burglary this morning on Belle Meade Street in Ypsilanti Township.

The older model Camry has a muffler or tail pipe that hangs down, a sheriff's department news release said.

It was seen traveling slowly through the neighborhood at about 10 a.m., the release said.

Shortly after someone spotted the car, deputies say a window at a home was smashed and a computer, cash and watch were taken, the release said. The homeowner interrupted the break-in.

A detailed description of two men believed to be traveling in the Camry was not available. Investigators ask anyone with information to call 911.
