Dexter woman headed to trial on burglary charges
A Dexter woman charged in a series of burglaries in Scio and Webster townships was ordered to stand trial.
Tera Bowman, 26, waived her right to a preliminary hearing on multiple counts of second-degree home invasion and conspiracy in Washtenaw County District Court. She is scheduled to stand trial in September, court records show.

Bowman pleaded not guilty to the charges during a brief court appearance last week. Her attorney, David Goldstein, said they'll be meeting with prosecutors before her final scheduled pre-trial hearing on Aug. 19.
Authorities allege Bowman burglarized a business in Scio Township and a home in Webster Township on May 12. They also said she was connected to two break-ins of homes in Scio Township five days later. Jewelry, electronics and other personal items were taken.
Washtenaw County sheriff's deputies traced Bowman to the sale of roughly $7,000 worth of alleged stolen merchandise to a local pawn shop, officials said. They found purses, cameras, cologne and jewelry inside her home believed to be stolen during the crime spree, reports said.
Further details about Bowman’s alleged male accomplice were not immediately available.
Goldstein said the investigation is ongoing and declined to discuss the allegations. Bowman posted $3,750 bond on June 1, record show.
