Donna Dettling, Dexter's village manager, is now one of five people under consideration for the Williamston city manager's job, the Lansing State Journal reports.

Dettling interviewed on Jan. 5 and the last two candidates are expected to interview on Jan. 11. Two other candidates are also still in the running, the newspaper reported.

Current City Manager Tim Allard is expected to retire on Jan. 15.
