The Washtenaw County Road Commission will begin work on North Territorial from Hadley to Hankerd roads in Dexter Township Monday.

Barrett Paving Materials, Inc. will work on North Territorial Road from Hadley Road to Hankerd Road, and the culvert under North Territorial Road east of Riker Road will be repaired before paving of the road begins.

The culvert work means a portion of the road will be removed to expose the culvert, so traffic will be restricted to one lane with a flagman directing traffic.

Once the culvert repairs have been completed, milling and paving operations will take place following the culvert work and are expected to take approximately five business days. During these daytime activities, traffic will be restricted to one lane and access for residents, businesses and deliveries will be maintained; however, motorists should expect delays.

These dates are tentative, and the asphalt paving operations are weather dependent.
