The Nixle system is so sporadic and unreliable. I did not receive the initial alert, but did receive the cancellation of the alert for this Buick this morning.

You are correct, Martha. The sheriff's office sent out this Nixle alert about a half hour ago announcing that the suspect was taken into custody: dexterreader: I asked the WSCO yesterday for information about the specific incidents and contacted them again this morning about the suspect being caught. Hopefully they will provide me with the information for a follow-up story soon.

As a township resident, I would be interested to hear more details about his capture and alleged activities. Hopefully there will be a follow-up article.

If the owner of the car is known, why hasn't he been arrested? He has to live somewhere in the area.

It would probably be more helpful if they named the model of the Buick... they do have the license plate number after all...

Exactly. They know the precise year but not the model?
