Q&A with Dexter Township's Harley Rider on his first motorcycle: A Honda
The fact that Dexter Township Clerk Harley B. Rider started cruising on a motorcycle at the age of 15 is not altogether surprising.

When he bought his first motorcycle, it was a Honda -- which prompted the nickname of "Honda Rider," according to a Detroit Free Press interview with Rider.
Though he's been given grief for his name, Rider, 64, has never owned a Harley-Davidson cycle.

I wish those killer motorbikes would be banned from the roadways. They are more dangerous in crash then a model T car yet they are still legal to ride on any street. Makes little sense when you compare how cars are today. So funny car drivers need to wear a seatbelt yet no helmets are OK for many bike drivers. Makes such little sense

Paul, motor bikes don't kill anyone.........inattentive drivers kill good people who ride motor bikes. Next time you put a cell phone to your ear while driving think about that "killer" word.
