Washtenaw County sheriff's deputies looking for boat and trailer stolen from Webster Township
The Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office is advising residents to be on the lookout for a boat and trailer that was reported stolen from Webster Township Thursday.
The boat is a bright orange 1989 Challenger with an open bow and silver horizontal stripe along the sides. The trailer is a black Fulton boat trailer and has no license plate, Corporal Mark Mesko said in a statement.
The boat and trailer were listed for sale and stolen Thursday on Webster-Church Road near Valentine Road, Mesko said.
The boat registration number is MC-5035-NR. Anyone with information on the boat or anyone who spots the boat should call 911, Mesko said.

We've had our boat stolen, as well, right here in Washtenaw County. Granted, it was a small john boat but that's one thing you don't snitch from a guy - his "fishin boat"! Victim should verify the WCSD entered the hull identification number (HIN or boat hull number) and trailer VIN properly into LEIN/NCIC. Unfortunately, the majority of stolen watercraft are never recovered... Great discription and registration number. I guess all the suspect needed was a ball and hitch. Glad to hear this was reported early on, hopefully it is not on it's way south or west. Bright orange might make this boat easier to spot, unless they cover it with a tarp. It would be a good idea for anyone to see a covered boat and trailer to call police.
