Dollar bills stapled to ceiling of Freedom Township bar stolen

By Lee Higgins

About 1,000 one-dollar bills were stolen Monday morning from the Pleasant Lake Inn bar in Freedom Township, a Michigan State Police news release said.

Patrons had used markers to write names and comments on the bills, which were stapled to the ceiling, the release said.

The break-in occurred about 4 a.m. Anyone with information can call the state police at (734) 482-1211.

The removed comment said NOTHING about blaming the victim for the crime. Censorship.

Businesses in Saline, Clinton, and Manchester ( or elsewhere) be on the lookout for marked currency. Like iceman said, spending that cash effectively is going to take some luck and / or creativity.

So some people at the bar broke the law by defacing the currency and then it was stolen. Seriously who is more guilty?
