Charges are pending after Ypsilanti police responded to an incident in the 300 block of Chidester Friday evening.

According to a report, officers responded to a call of a possible suicidal woman at 7 p.m. — but after investigating, they concluded a woman had threatened her boyfriend with a knife after a verbal and physical confrontation.

Charges are pending, the report said.
