Dump truck hits pedestrian in York Township

A 20-year-old York Township resident is in critical condition after being struck by a dump truck Tuesday, Washtenaw County sheriff's deputies said.

The collision occurred about 7:05 p.m. on Judd Road near Moon Road, a sheriff's department incident summary said.

According to the release, the pedestrian was in the roadway when the crash occurred.

The driver of the truck, a 20-year-old Saline resident, was not injured. The accident is under investigation.

No further details were available this morning.

weird! they were both 20. I wonder how often a 20 year old hits another 20 year old with a dump truck! It's probably more often than you'd think- you know, because they were born in the same year and stuff.
