Eastbound I-94 near Chelsea is closed due to a rollover accident that occurred a short time ago, according to Washtenaw County dispatchers.

The expressway is shut down between Pierce and Kalmbach roads, dispatchers say. It's unclear when the road will be reopened.

Dispatchers did not have any information on how many vehicles were involved or any injuries.

Michigan State Police troopers are on the scene. State Police could not immediately be reached for further details.
