Tim Towler, from Triangle Towing, gets a strap ready as he and tow truck operators from Sakstrups and Brewers teamed up to try and get a rolled over semi truck back upright after it crashed on eastbound I-94 between Liberty and Scio Church Roads, Tuesday afternoon. The accident had eastbound I-94 closed for several hours.

Westbound I-94 remains closed and traffic is being diverted to Jackson Road while workers on the scene try to right the semi that rolled onto its side, spilling dog food across the highway.

Police said no one is injured, but the semi is blocking the roadway. The expressway is expected to remain closed for about three hours.

It would have been really helpful to get an update on this accident when it was finally cleared.

No dog food was harmed in this crash. Somebody was misinformed. Airbag recovery was used to upright the trailer with the cargo in place. Most of the dog food aboard simply bounced around a bit...No food ended up on the road.

Wait, does the loss of dog food mean that this topic is now subject to increased moderation?
