By Tina Reed

Two Eastern Michigan University students were sleeping in their apartment in the 600 block of Emmet Street at 3:50 a.m. today when one of them woke to discover a man standing in their bedroom.

The student confronted the intruder, and he fled from the off-campus residence in an unknown direction.

The students said they discovered their 37-inch Sony flat screen TV was missing.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact the Ypsilanti Police Department at 734-483-9510.

Have the students not been kept informed of the news from the not so distant past when Convicted murderer Orange Taylor III sexually assaulted and killed student Laura Dickenson. He stole items as well. Lock your doors be careful there appears to be more of the bad guys out there.

So how far up on everyone's "really creepy" meter does this one rank? Wake up and someone is standing in your room? Scary scary stuff.

Too bad the article doesn't report how the crimnal gained entry. Lucky for the students they left when confronted.
