Washtenaw Christian Academy Top Scholars
Washtenaw Christian Academy held its 2010 graduation ceremonies June 4 in their cafetorium. The class had 24 graduates.
Clarissa Grimes
Activities and awards: Clarissa was a National Merit Finalist and involved in Drama productions for four years. She was a member of the School Choir, a member of the Varsity Soccer Team for four years, and the Beta Club. Clarissa received a Michigan Competitive scholarship award, and will be graduating Valedictorian.
Plans after graduation: Clarissa plans to attend Spring Arbor and ultimately law school.
Lisa Koller
Activities and awards: Lisa had been involved for four years with the Drama Club & Productions, the Varsity Soccer Team, the Varsity Cheerleading Squad, and for one year on the Junior Varsity Volleyball team. She was a member of the Beta Club, the Youth Group, and Youth Ministry Music Team. Lisa has been part of a talent show and piano recitals. She is a church nursery volunteer and has been involved in various mission trips. She has received from Hope College a Presidential Scholarship, from Cornerstone University a President’s Scholarship, from Calvin College a Presidential Scholarship, a Heart & Mind Scholarship, a Knollcrest Grant, and a Michigan Competitive scholarship. Lisa will be graduating salutatorian.
Plans after graduation: Lisa’s major is undecided but plans to attend Calvin College.
