By Cindy Heflin

Police are responding to a crash on eastbound 94 between Michigan Avenue and Huron Street, east of Ann Arbor, a dispatcher with the Washtenaw County Sheriff's Department said.

The two-vehicle crash is on the shoulder and is not blocking traffic, the dispatcher said. The crash, which occurred about 8:40 a.m. today, is not believed to have injured anyone.

"why is this newsworthy?" Because even if the vehicles aren't blocking traffic, there will be all the "looky-loos" that will slow to a crawl to get an eyefull and that will cause a traffic back-up. Therefore, it's nice to have this news so that people can avoid this area should they have to be someplace at a certain time and don't want to have to sit in traffic.
