A silver diamond engagement ring was among items reported stolen from a car parked in Ypsilanti Township last week, according to the Washtenaw County Sheriff's Department summary.
A deputy was dispatched to the 1000 block of Levona Street on Friday for a report of items stolen from a vehicle there. The caller said the items were taken sometime between 5 a.m. and 8:45 p.m.
In addition to the ring, a laptop computer, a GPS unit and a wallet were stolen. Police found no signs of forced entry.

can't i post a comment? people, (annarbor.com) it's a life lesson...if an engagement ring IS NOT on a finger, it SHOULD BE tight in a pocket, LOCKED in a safe, etc. hope the owner had it on a homeowner's policy, but if they can't lock their doors, i doubt it. jeez... (delete this one...i dare ya)
