David Stone Jr., the youngest of nine Hutaree militia suspects arrested after a raid in the Ann Arbor area a year ago, is no terrorist, his friends and family members told the Detroit Free Press.

Stone is charged with seditious conspiracy, attempting to use weapons of mass destruction, and teaching/demonstrating the use of explosive materials. But he couldn't hurt anyone, say his supporters who are working to clear his name, the Free Press reports.

Stone, 20, was among nine people charged after federal agents raided a phony memorial service in the Ann Arbor area. Five of the suspects remain in custody. Four, including Stone, are free on bond.

The only thing that any of the Hutaree need to be saved from are the people who are holding them without any real reason. No illegal weapons were found, no explosives were found. No specific time, place, or person was targeted in ANY of the recordings I've heard, or read about. In fact the best they have are vague references to what seem to be made in humor (some involving hookers). This case has no substance and none of this should even be going to trial, much less steal over a year of these peoples lives from them. If the FBI/DHS thought these people had animosity toward them before. When they are released do you think they're going to like them more or less? The government doesn't have a case, but the Defense wants to cover their bases and make sure they don't miss anything. Especially since we are no longer innocent until proven guilty, but guilty until proven innocent.

A) This is not news B) If I wanted to read the Free Press I would. I don't need Mlive to inform me of the great stories elswhere, that have no connection (Aside from a phony funeral) to this area. C) This space could have been used for a real story.

It would appear that you have had opinions on a number of stories in the past that had no particular connection to you! What does this line from the story tell you about the connection to the area? "David Stone Jr., the youngest of nine Hutaree militia suspects arrested after a raid in the Ann Arbor area a year ago"
