By Lee Higgins

One man was arrested and another is being sought following a fight this morning at Greenway Park Apartments that led to five people being hospitalized, Pittsfield Township police said.

Each of the victims, between ages 18 and 48, had head injuries; three also had cuts to the upper body after the 12:43 a.m. fight. None of the injuries were considered life-threatening, police said.

Bottles, knives and pipes were used in the fight outside the complex in the 2700 block of Golfside Drive, said Gordy Schick, the township's deputy director of police services.

It's unclear why the fight broke out, Schick said. The 20-year-old man taken into custody and the victims are Pittsfield Township residents, Schick said.
