Ford food drive promises free 'Made in Detroit' t-shirts to donors

By Staff

Southeast Michigan Ford dealers are promoting a regional food drive starting today to benefit Gleaners Community Food Bank.

The effort also is a partnership with the Detroit Lions - and donors can get a free team-themed t-shirt, according to organizers.

From today through Dec. 31, donors who bring in 10 cans or non-perishable food items to a Ford dealership in Washtenaw County or other southeast Michigan locations will get a "Made in Detroit" t-shirt.

The shirts are one per customer while supplies last.
