Former Pioneer High basketball player hoping to bring joy of hoops to underprivileged children; BBBS Washtenaw shares success story

A young man from Ann Arbor is one of five national finalists for a 10-month basketball sabbatical program sponsored by Shooting Touch.

From an Ann Arbor resident's efforts to travel abroad to help needy children to a success story from the nonprofit Big Brothers Big Sisters, here's a roundup of some of the stories posted on’s Community Wall this week:
