Golf clubs stolen in burglary at Stonebridge Golf Club in Pittsfield Township
Pittsfield Township police are investigating an overnight break-in at the Stonebridge Golf Club.
Police say employees reported the burglary in the pro shop at 1825 Club House Drive at 6:38 a.m. Tuesday.
Public Safety Director Matt Harshberger said someone threw a large rock through the glass door to get inside the clubhouse.
Equipment valued at $4,856 was taken. Items included a complete set of Ping golf clubs with a bag, a complete set of Taylor Made golf clubs with a bag, and assorted Nike and Ping clubs.
Harshberger said detectives are following several leads to identify the burglar or burglars.

Everyday, there is a theft issue in Pittsfield. No one seems to care when its the Golfside/Clark area. Maybe now that some golf clubs have been stolen, and a pro shop has been broken into, maybe some of Pittsfield's residents might care.
