Youth football coach allegedly punched other coach in the face
Less than a week since an on-field brawl at a high school football game shocked the Ann Arbor community, a coach-on-coach gridiron altercation was reported in Hamburg Township in Livingston County Tuesday, according to the Livingston Daily Press and Argus.
A 36-year-old youth football coach allegedly punched the coach of the opposing team in the face around 7:30 p.m. at a football field in Bennett Park, the newspaper reported. The two teams were scrimmaging and the coaches accused each other of "playing dirty," the report said.

This is not surprising because the game of football creates and promotes violence.

A lame attempt at "see, this happens everywhere". Sure, let's be just like Livingston County.

I was wondering what it took for the blog to go north of the county line.

It's a slippery slope. Soon they'll be reporting on Trick-or-Treating times in Brighton, and then it's not that much of a stretch to send some hapless blogger for day at Balloonfest or one of those endless fundraisers in the streets of Howell. You ever notice that when they want to raise money in Howell, they always have men wearing bras and high heels? I wonder what that means.

Talk about first-world problems...suburban boys and their coaches coming to blows over a meaningless game.

I am just curious as to why every story you are printing lately has to have some reference to the football game a week ago? Was it because of what happened has that big of an impact on every thing that goes wrong from now on? I never realized that 2 high school football teams had that much impact on everyone else. Next thing you know it will be blamed on these kids as to who one or lost the presidential race.
