Have an opinion on Ann Arbor's proposed city budget? Here are a few ways to weigh in
Do you have an opinion on Ann Arbor's proposed city budget? Have a few suggestions for city leaders? Ann Arbor residents will have a number of opportunities to weigh in on the proposal in the coming weeks, starting with a town hall meeting tonight at CTN studios.
For those unable to make the 7 p.m. meeting tonight, City Council Members Sabra Briere and Sandi Smith, both 1st Ward Democrats, will meet with residents at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the Arrowwood Hills Community Center. And if that's not convenient, Briere and Smith say they also will meet with residents at 6:30 p.m. April 20 at the Northside Grill.
Briere has set up a survey for residents to weigh in on the city's budget, future development of the Library Lot, and the next city administrator.
A formal public hearing is set for May 2, followed by council adoption of the budget on May 16.
