Ypsilanti Township homeowner scares away possible intruders
Two men attempted to break into an Ypsilanti Township home on Tuesday afternoon while the resident was inside, according to the Washtenaw County Sheriff's Department.
Police said two men knocked at the front door of the home in the 1300 block of Candlewood Lane at 2:50 p.m. Because the homeowner didn't recognize the men, he didn't open the door.
The men then went to the side door, but were unable to gain entry, reports said. They continued on to the rear kitchen window and removed the screen, but the homeowner scared them off. Nothing was taken.
The men were last seen running westbound on Lexington Parkway, reports said.

Hopefully the neighbors on Candlewood will join the dedicated neighborhood watch group. We still need a block captain for Candlewood.

I hope the "kids" wise up before they pull their stunts on a homeowner who is willing to protect their home.

This is the second time this month on this street. Sounds like local kids. Hope the neighbors get together and get rid of this rif-raf.
