Washtenaw CC and EMU are both closed tomorrow. Still no announcement from AAPS. What are they waiting for? This should serve as an example of how things are run at AAPS. Not in a pro-active manner, to say the least. There is absolutely no excuse for waiting for an announcement. The hospital is making emergency plans, the public schools don't announce they are closed? How ridiculous is that!

I don't know what AAPS is waiting for either but, really, does anyone need official word from AAPS that schools will be closed tomorrow? Of course they will be.

The AADL is closed tomorrow. Smart, pro-active move. Maybe the Ann Arbor Public Schools need to take a look at weather dot com and see that now the prediction is 12-18" of snow for the Detroit area, including AA. Close the schools and let people prepare. This is a blizzard WARNING. What is AAPS waiting for???

I love to see people take notice of what's about to happen and make rational plans to deal with it. It gives me hope.
