By Heather Lockwood

An unknown person broke into an Ann Arbor residence Friday afternoon by kicking in a side door when no one was home, according to Ann Arbor police Lt. Renee Bush.

Bush said the victim, a 30-year-old woman, discovered her TV, laptop computer and some jewelry were missing.

The incident occurred in the 1700 block of Green Road sometime between 2 and 3 p.m. Friday, Bush said.

No further details were immediately available.

It's a darn shame when you can't leave your home for just an hour. I can only hope the suspect/suspects will be caught and the items returned to the owner. It's getting to the point where one wants to put bars on all windoes and doors. (not a pretty site)
