Lloyd Carr to speak at Washtenaw 100 Club's annual dinner

The Washtenaw 100 Club announced former University of Michigan associate athletic director and head football coach Lloyd Carr will be the speaker at its annual dinner Oct. 28.

The dinner is to be held at the Ann Arbor Marriott Ypsilanti at Eagle Crest. A cocktail reception and silent auction will begin at 6 p.m., and the dinner will begin at 7 p.m.

Ticket prices range from $75 for an individual, $35 of which is tax-deductible, to $1,000 for eight corporate tickets, $665 of which is tax-deductible.

The Washtenaw 100 Club is an organization of area business people whose mission is to support local active police officers and firefighters who serve within Washtenaw County. Proceeds from the fundraiser will be used to start an endowment to support the club activities and increase benefits to law enforcement officers and firefighters.
