Lodi Township man reported missing is found in Florida

By Lee Higgins

A Lodi Township man reported missing last month is "alive and well," visiting a family member in Florida, Washtenaw County Sheriff's Department spokesman Derrick Jackson said today.

On Wednesday, detectives located 67-year-old Roger Lee Lowe, ending a search that lasted for several weeks, Jackson said.

Lowe was last reported seen at his South Maple Road home at 10 p.m. Aug. 15, investigators said. Deputies had not suspected foul play, but family members were concerned because of Lowe's medical history.

Detectives were able to track Lowe down after reviewing various financial records, Jackson said.

Well, a happy ending to the story! Have a warm and sunny winter in Florida, Mr. Lowe. Don't forget to phone the family at home once in a while.
