Man accused of impersonating Pittsfield Township police officer
A 23-year-old Ann Arbor man was arrested Wednesday after Pittsfield Township police say he impersonated a police officer.
Witnesses told police the man's vehicle was speeding, flashing high beams and using a siren to get cars to move out of the way.
The incidents occurred near Ellsworth Road and State Street, and Lohr Road near Oak Valley Drive, a news release said.
Witnesses also told police the man claimed he was a Pittsfield Township police officer, the release said.
The man's 2007 blue Suzuki Forenza with tinted windows was found in a parking lot in the 3100 block of Lohr Road. He was questioned and was arrested at about 9 p.m., the release said.
His name has not been released. He is expected to be charged with false impersonation of a police officer and hazardous traffic violations.
Drivers who want to confirm a police officer is pulling them over can call 911. People also are encouraged to turn their hazards on and stop in a well-lit area, the release said.
Anyone with information can call police at at (734) 944-4911, ext. 0.

maybe if the police actual told the reporter what happened this story would make more sense to everyone. Not just alleged facts or in this case fiction!

Maybe Matt Harshberger should hire this guy. Good help is very hard to find, and he already has his own vehicle and equipment. Creative staffing is the key to success. the dog
