A man was arrested in Ann Arbor around 8 p.m. Wednesday after police say he assaulted an officer responding to a call outside the Blue Leprechaun on South University Avenue.
Officers say they arrived outside the establishment to find the man agitated and intoxicated. His lips were bloody, and he had a number of abrasions on his face, reports said.
He told them a bouncer named "Sean" punched him in the face after he tried to get in the bathroom and was turned back, reports said.
As officers continued to question the man, he became uncooperative and said he "wanted justice," reports said. He swore at the officer and tried to push his way past, knocking the officer's glasses off his face, reports said.
He was arrested for disorderly conduct, as well as assault.
