Man bound with duct-tape and robbed in Pittsfield Township, police say

A 53-year-old Scio Township man was bound and left in his vehicle in Pittsfield Township by two gunmen who confronted him as he was leaving work last night, township police said.

The robbery occurred in the 4100 block of Morgan Road at about 11:20 p.m.

The victim told police he was confronted by two armed men who demanded his wallet and fanny pack.

Police said the robbers then duct-taped the victim's hands and feet, left him in his vehicle, and fled on foot. The victim was able to free his hands and call 911.

Police did not say today where the victim works.

One robber was described as Hispanic, 20 to 25 years old, 5 feet 8 inches tall and has a mustache. He was wearing a dark colored hooded sweatshirt. The second robber was also described as Hispanic, 20 to 25 years old, and was wearing a small dark cowboy-style hat and dark long sleeved shirt.
