Its a miracle there are not many more people killed on the local lakes. I observed a mother and 2 kids swimming right in the boating lane on Cavanaugh lake this weekend. The father had followed them a very short way then left. A neighbor went out and told them to get closer to shore. He said they almost got hit. The mothers reply! I have it under control they missed us! She should have been in a straight jacket instead of a life jacket! They were guest at the lake. People if you have guest at your lake please keep an eye on them. They could have ruined their lives and the lives of an innocent boater.

Some swimmers just don't know how hard they are to see.A moving boat and then add the glare of the water.
