A man who was disappointed with his lunch flicked a cigarette at an employee of The Fleetwood Diner on Monday, leaving him with a burn to his forearm, an Ann Arbor police report said.

The incident occurred at about 2 p.m. after a man ate his lunch, complained about it, then left without paying his bill, the report said.

The man ordered a gyro and French fries and was upset because "it had onions and tomatoes on it," according to the report.

The man got into a silver Mazda minivan, then flicked a lit cigarette at the 23-year-old employee standing in front of the South Ashley Street diner, according to the report.

The incident occurred after the employee told the man he was traveling the wrong way on the street.

The man was described as white, in his mid-30s, 5 feet, 4 inches tall, 150 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He was wearing a white button-down shirt and dark pants.
