The victim told police one of the men asked for "a light," police said. The victim lit a match, then was punched in the face, according to police. He was knocked the ground, and the assault continued before the men left the area, police said.
One of the attackers was described as white, 6 feet tall, in his early 20s, with a goatee and dark hair, police said. He was wearing a dark-colored sweatshirt and blue jeans. Police did not have detailed descriptions of the other two men.

So the City trims the law enforcement budget and builds expensive underground parking. Who will have the courage to use it?

Glad I carry pepper spray when I go out. This town is turning into the Wild west.

I saw a brawl outside of Bar Louie on Saturday around the same time... I wonder if it is related? Actually I don't, it's not my job to solve crimes. What else do police say? I always here them, never really see them though unless it's for a ridiculous moving violation. Ann Arbor should look into a reserve officer program or maybe a volunteer police division to do their work.
