Ypsilanti police seek man for questioning in investigation of two burglaries
Ypsilanti police are seeking a man for questioning in connection with two burglaries Tuesday night at apartments in the 800 block of Green Road.
Four young men are believed to be involved in both incidents, but a detailed description of them was not available. They were traveling in a red sport utility vehicle.
Police responded to a report just before 6 p.m. that the men left an apartment at Huron View Apartments carrying bags. Two laptop computers, three video game systems and about 30 video games were stolen, a police incident log said.
Police responded to a report at an adjacent building at about 6:20 p.m. after an apartment door was kicked in, the log said. Two computers, two television sets, three video game systems and other items were taken.
Officers executed a search warrant on a car outside one of the buildings and recovered some of the stolen property from the burglary at Huron View Apartments, the log said.
