MDOT will briefly shut down US-23 early Saturday morning

By Ann Dwyer

The Michigan Department of Transportation will briefly shut all lanes of US-23 just north of Plymouth Road Saturday morning, a spokeswoman said. The closure will begin at 7:30 a.m. MDOT estimates it should last 15 minutes.

Police will be on hand to assist with traffic control during the closure.

The closure will allow utility workers to string fiber optic cable across the highway.

Probably not Dading. It would seem that 3am on Saturday morning would be a less busy time, but I'm sure the workers would have no part of working that late/early.
