Milan police investigate 3 reports of a prowler this week

By AnnArbor.com Staff

Milan police have received three reports of prowlers in the area of Canfield and Greentree streets this week, with different descriptions of the prowler in two of the cases.

On Monday, a resident on Canfield Street reported a man was looking into a apartment window and then fled the scene, police said. He was gone when officers arrived.

That prowler was described as black, 5 feet 8 inches to 6 feet tall, medium build, wearing a white shirt, black shorts and glasses.

Two incidents have occurred on Greentree Street since Tuesday, both involving the same resident, police said. In the first incident, the resident reported seeing someone looking into a window. In the second case, the resident heard something hit the window, looked out and saw someone running away.

The resident described the prowler looking in the window as white, with a large build, striped shirt and glasses. The resident wasn't able to say whether the same man was responsible for the second incident, police said.

Officers also were unable to locate anyone in those cases.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Milan Police Department at 734-439-1551.
