Cover up those tender plants. The National Weather Service has issued a frost advisory for the Ann Arbor area for Thursday morning.

Temperatures are expected to drop into the low to mid-30s late tonight, creating frost in some areas.

Sensitive plants left unprotected outdoors will likely be damaged or killed, the weather service warned.

The advisory is in effect from 3 a.m. to 8 a.m. Thursday.
