Ned Staebler to start bi-weekly coffee hours this Saturday
Ann Arbor's Ned Staebler, a candidate for state representative for the 53rd District, will be hosting “Saturdays with Staebler” beginning this Saturday from 9-11 a.m. at Sweetwaters, 123 W. Washington St.
Staebler is encouraging community members to come and ask him about his views and ideas for the state of Michigan, and voice their opinions about the best route for the state. He said he plans to host “Saturdays with Staebler” bi-weekly throughout his campaign, which began this month.
Staebler is the vice president of capital access and business acceleration at the Michigan Economic Development Corp. He oversees efforts to increase the availability of capital for companies in Michigan and manages the state’s portfolio of direct investments in entrepreneurial ventures.
He also serves as chairman of the Ann Arbor Housing and Human Services Advisory Board and sits on the distribution committee of the Ann Arbor Area Community Foundation. He helped found the Ann Arbor Social Capital Fund, a group of local residents dedicated to supporting human service agencies in Ann Arbor through both philanthropy and public service.
