Heritage media: Neutral Zone board elects new president
University of Michigan graduate Tara Mahoney has been elected president of the board of directors for Ann Arbor's Neutral Zone, reported the Ann Arbor Journal.
According to the journal, Mahoney has been a board member and a chair on the human resources board committee at the teen center since 2008. She also is a partner at the law firm Honigman Miller Schwartz and Cohn LLP, where she works in the labor and employment department.
"I am very proud to serve as president of the Neutral Zone's Board, not only because it is an opportunity to lead this important community organization, but it also gives me a chance to work directly with teens to develop their leadership skills," Mahoney said in a news release.
