Adieu to College Shoe Repair, it will be missed

This is to bid a fond and regretful farewell to the College Shoe Repair shop and to publicly express my grateful thanks for their work on my family's footwear over the past 40 odd years.
No matter the age of a favorite item, I never felt any shame in presenting the problem to the friendly staff who always seemed able to offer a life extending solution.
I wish you all good luck for the future; you and your craft will be sadly missed.

limmy, Lou Ann Brown and Nancy Erikson are still alive and well and living in Florida.

I remember Lou Brown and Nancy Erickson from years ago at College Shoe Repair. I lost track of them when they moved to Florida. Wondering what happened to them.
