OPINION: City Council Member Mike Anglin cares about the issues that are important

Why do I support Mike Anglin for re-election? Because he cares about people, neighborhoods, the environment, the character of our town. He thinks independently and votes his conscience.

Preservation of historic neighborhoods, human-scaled development in and near downtown, a plan for the "Library Lot" that serves the needs of the community--these are goals that Mike understands. He insists that citizens be welcomed to the decision-making process and their voices be heard. That means people like you and me.

Please join me in supporting Mike. Vote for him on Aug. 2.
